As far as I know, you can't. BUT you can copy the music from you ipod to your computer before you sync it. Just go to My Computer, click on whichever drive is your ipod.. It'll say storage device. Then starte copying your music to a folder on C drive. Once it's all copied, go ahead and sync.

You gotta read the popups it gives you carfuly when you plug the ipod in, and if you follow the direction it will work. It does work tho, mine used to do that but it doesnt anymore, so keep trying.
