The power of brainwashing. I don't do WalMart because I don't like what they stand for in just about every aspect. At the beginning of each shift they have some sort of a pep talk with them convincing them how "fortunate" they are are to be one of the "chosen ones" to work there, etc. They pay their emploess slave wages and give no medical benefits! It's almost like a religion in my town with their employees and followers alike. When I hear people say "WalMart" with stars in their eyes, I realize they are blind to what's really going on there.

The power of bringing massive amounts of people together to stomp the life out of others while under the stupify-ray of SALES, SALES, SALES signs. :(

The power to price its health insurance so high that half of the U.S. employees go on Medicaid.

Power to convince people to buy bulk amounts at higher prices. Several times in Wal-mart I've seen large bags/whatever of something that are more expensive than if you buy the same amount in smaller bags. They have the power to use your own stupidity against you.

The power to make me part with my money. Whenever I go there I drop serious dough...stores with groceries AND other stuff are my downfall.

They have the power to over work and under pay their employees, run sweat shops in China, to put local businesses out of business, to pollute, to punish their workers for wanting fair wages, to have the largest number of people on payroll who need government assistance with health care,...the list goes on.
