    No, as the twin phenomenon of El Nino & La Nina have been around & recorded for a long time, whereas the current global warming is either a new phenomenon or a part of a bigger ice age/warm age world cycle. Although I think I have heard that the El Nino is happening more often now, and maybe its increased frequency is due to the global warming.
