Who should Bella Swan choose: a smouldering vampire or a buff teen werewolf or neither?

I actually didn't even know until yesterday that they weren't both vampires. I've never read or watched any of them. Anyway, I'd rather be with a vampire than a werewolf, assuming the conventional definitions. But I don't think I'd choose either.

I love the Twilight series. She would be better off with Jacob (the werewolf), but her heart is with Edward (vampire).

Neither. Edward is _not_ hot--and he's a borderline stalker!--but Bella is too involved with the vampires to be completely welcome with Jacob and his pack. She should just give up and find herself a real boy. Edward's only advantage in my opinion is that he can turn Bella into a vampire. At least then they're on equal footing.

I'm in the process of TRYING to get through those books. Right now, I'm of the opinion that Bella should pack her cr*p and move to a story that has a decent plot. Sheesh! This is KILLING me trying to get through this!
