it bothers me when nearly everybody stands that close to me.
-
Yes! Especially when I move up a few steps to get away, then they move up, and I move up....
-
It bother me. I just want to say "Back off Buddy"
-
It does bother me! I don't understand why someone has to stand that close to a stranger. It's weird and isn't respectful of someone's personal space.
-
Yes and especially if they have garlic breath.
-
It does. i cant hold my tongue, specially if someone breaths or coughs near me, i loose it!
-
I usually step back on their foot, and then say "Oh, excuse me I didn't see you there".
-
Then they won't mind me farting.
-
Not if it's a hot chick, unless she's trying to lift my wallet.
-
Yes!! I asked a man to please take a step backward not too long ago. There is no excuse for it. It literally makes me feel like I'm going to go into a tantrum.
-
Yes it annoys the hell out of me. Especially for some reason this just gets to my nerves when people breath loudly through their nose. I had a guy behind me the other days that was doing that crap. Finally I just moved to the side of the line.
-
Yes. But I find that if I break out into song or start barking, the problem takes care of itself.
-
Yeah, but I usually start an arguement with myself, gets people out of my "bubble"
-
ew definitely, if I can feel their body heat or smell it, they're invading my personal space. Oh & if they're heavy breathers, i mean seriously, step back please :)
-
Yes, the bothering is a pleasant bother.
-
My comfort zone is an imaginary line circumscribed by the reach of my outstretch arm and fingeres. Many of the time, I take a casual step backward so as to step on his foot, as if by accident. Usually they've moved off by then. Sensed my hostile vibs I guess.
-
It really heats my fire when they cough or sneeze and make no attempt to cover thier mouth. I usually say something and its not "bless you".
-
Yes. People in line in the U.S. generally leave at least 15-18 inches between themselves and the person in front or in back of them. If a person is standing too close, turn sideways and put your hands on your hips.
-
I hate when that happens, makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable, i usually just let them go ahead of me just to get them out of the way more quickly.
-
People don't usually bother me in this fashion - but if someone is stupid enough to do so, I turn around and tell them to step back or get stepped on (I'm a big dude).
-
No. I would not tolerate it. If somone standing behind me in the line does so I would shout over him/her and tell not him/her not to do so.
-
Yes, it bothers me when someone stays too close to me because in Nepal most of the girls including me have the same mentality.
-
Just peek surreptitiously downwards, aim well and then take a step back, right on their toes. Make sure you put your full weight on it.
-
I hate when that happens, I'm standing at an atm and someone is right behind you. Some people's social skills are terrible.
-
Yes I cant stand that, but if get to close I usually say to them, your not going to hump my leg are you man?
-
I hate that SOOOO much! Especially when you try to move away from them and they keep getting closer! Creepy!
-
if it's a hot chick, i don't mind
-
No. In fact it's rather cosy when it's cold out.
-
That's invasion of personal space and unacceptable by etiquette rules. Speak up!
-
it would but people never do that to me
-
Depends how good-looking they are.
-
especially when they start pushing me out of the way.
-
Make a fake fart sound and then say oops excuse me! See if that backs them up!
-
No it makes me feel loved.
-
it would except ive never really had that happen
-
Do not enter my personal space.
-
That happens a lot less now with COVID. Maybe if you start coughing they'll back up.
-
stay 6 ft away from me
-
I observe social distancing.
