Yes, they do, but it's my fault for taking them on as if they were my own.
-
Only when I allow it to take over...For the most part I deal with my own and that keeps my mind occupied:)
-
They used to, but i have since learnt to adjust my thinking and now achieve a healthy balance of thought :)
-
No, mine do.
-
Sometimes it depends on what the problem is and how close the person is to me. Mostly my own problems overwhelm my mind. Well you know if I think about it a little longer my problems are mostly due or caused by someone else, so maybe my answer is yes. You got me confused now. I gotta think about this some more and that means my mind is going to be very overwhelmed.
-
Yes, when it comes to my boys I do.
-
Usually not...but right now my brother is an alcoholic and has kids that he is bring down because of it...this has caused me great distress these last couple of weeks...
-
No, but mine do sometimes! and then again, when I think about some of the problems that other people have.....it helps mine seem not so bad!:)
-
Not really, I have enough on my plate with my own.
-
No. I sincerely like helping others and if anything, it minimizes my own problems.
-
The pupils' problems keeps me wondering for days sometimes.. It is hard to see them everyday, talk to them, love the, and not worry about their problems..
-
Yes, my s/o's and my family's problems overwhelm me quite frequently.
-
Yes, I worry alot
-
Sometimes yes if the person's problems point to a particular fear I have.
-
Sometimes, yes. If I'm closer to a certain person, I will try to help them solve their problems, and then it can become MY problem. I try to stay neutral when it comes to things like this, though. Help as much as you can, then know you did your best. Push it aside until the next time you need to deal with it so you don't stress too much!
-
Sometimes ... especially when I am in problem-solving mode with them. But a funny thing happens when I give their insurmountable problems back to them to "own" after talking them through ... They figure out solutions! Go figure.
-
Yeah, that's why people come to attorneys...they have a problem.
-
They do. I worry about my Daughter and her family. I let their problems become mine. I wish I could just shut it off but it doesn't happen that way. That saying "what you don't know can't hurt you" is so true. My husband is always telling me to let them work out their own problems but I can't seem to do it. I would feel as if I was turning my back on them. I know it's my problem but I'm not sure how to fix it.
-
I wouldn't say they overwhelm me..I find dealing with the problems of others is easier than dealing with my own, but sometimes it can add alot of pressure..maybe that makes sense..maybe not..lol :)
-
No, most only want you to hear their problems. Not try to solve them.
-
Yes. That is why I an hoping to change my career in the next two years. Um...the current financial crisis does not make it a particularly wise decision for me to go career hunting at the present time.
-
Not in the least.
-
Nope///my own problems sometimes overwhelm my mind...but not other peoples'
-
Sometimes. Take this world crisis we've caused..that bothers the he** out of me. :(
-
it depends on who it is and what type of person you are in the heart.
