How do I make an invoice to a company I'm working for? I'm just starting out... Can't find any decent examples on any websites.

I don't know what system and programs you have, but if you have Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, your problems are over. You can use Word for a letter type invoice, look in General Templates for a format that suits you. In Excel you can make a professional type invoice, listing your services and charges on a letterhead form complete with a logo (clip art) of your choice. It might take you a while to get everything just right, but you can do it. Good luck!

Quick Books "simple start" is available from the Quick Books website as a free download. I am currently running my locksmith business using this program.

google docs and google sheets or open office .org is free plenty of examples for you to copy if you google invoice template
