I took my girlfriend to see "Millers Crossing" on our first date about 15 years ago. It's kind of a strange bloody gangster movie. As we left the movie she told me "For future reference if you're trying to impress a girl on a first date don't take her to see that movie!" That's what she said but we are still together so it must not have been that bad.

My husband took me to see "Blowup" in 1967. I was only 17. I got embarassed and spent alot of time in the bathroom. It wasn't the first date but I was put off because of some sex scenes. He made a bad choice. So, for me personaly, it would be a movie that had explicit sex scenes. Even now after all these years, I wouldn't like it.

Aw, someone mentioned Plan 9! I'd love for a date to be centred around that movie, actually; it's a comedy of errors. Best when mixed with a film buff guy. About the only thing I'd hate to be shown is something modern without imagination or pretty graphics. Or Audition. God, that move is scary :)
