I'd say a definite don't. In my son's preschool, they had cubbies with their names on them. One day I happened to read a row of names and side by side by side were Porche, Mercedes and Lexus.

Very trashy. Unfortunatley in my town, it's the druggie neighborhoods that seem to have those type of names heavily in their population.

My Daughter Edsel is a stripper at an oldies bar. My niece Porche scored a sugar daddy. My cousin's daughter Geo hasn't killed herself... yet.

I could see Xterra or something, but the usual names already mentioned sound like hooker names. Ugh!

for personal entertainment purposes, i think "misubishi," "hyundai," and "suzuki" would be quite amusing to the rest of the world. for the good of the child, better stay away.

Trashy. Porsches and Mercedes were both named after girls anyway. I think Edsel was a nephew of Henry Ford. But most cars wouldn't work so well. Mustang Sally? Impala? Galant? I don't think so.

Classy, depending on the car. Naming your daughter Oldsmobile isn't very classy. :p

Same her Edsel. Feminine, and every guy she meets will know she is trash. It would be more sentimental and attractive to name her after your dog growing up as a kid.

Depends on the car! Mercedes McCambridge was a classy lady. Although, I think Volkswagon Bug, Corvette, or Dodge Viper would be pretty bad names for kids!
