Hmm...I'm not exactly a swami in this category but I can only think of 2 things- 1. She IS jealous because maybe you are paying much more attention to the kitten and not as much to her as you used to and now feels less wanted. she might just be trying to get your attention? 2. Maybe she is actually being protective rather than jealous? :P

You cat needs to get along with the new place you brough it....don't punish you cat for such behaviour...it will make it even worse...the best thing you can do is get another kitten(if possible).this will make your cat have a friend to play with without shoving nasty behaviour.always make sure you spend some time with your cat each day and feed it on regular times( this will make your cat feel better)
