  • There may not be a problem. The current load may be too high for the unit at the moment, they are usually installed based on a forecasted high-end ambient temperature of 95 degrees, with a 20degree delta, meaning it will pull you down to 75 on a 95 degree day. You are asking a system to pull you down 45 degrees, which is asking it to do more work than it was designed to do. It can be adjusted to' some degree, but, that costs money which effects the price of the unit/installation, which most people shuck off until after the fact because they just shop price, instead of listening to the professionals explain what the options mean. If it is running & running & running, but its holding approx 20 degrees under the outside, then its just overloaded with work, basically. Surely you can relate.
