Sure...but I'd spend even more time shopping and hogging their A/C
-
No, never again... but, i have done it before. HOT, HOT HOT..:)
-
I am right now, have been all summer. It isn't pretty:(:(
-
I have never lived WITH air conditioning. Where I live, it is not needed.
-
We've had a few summers when the air conditioning wasn't working at all. We lived with it, but didn't like it at times. But now we have it *thank god* lol.
-
Perhaps, but here in East Texas that would border on cruel and unusual punishment! Today, it's suppose to get up to 96 degrees, with a "real feel" of 102 !!! EEK!
-
I probably could, but living in the south, I sure wouldn't like it.
-
Could I live without an air conditioner here in North Texas ? Maybe Would I attempt it ? No Way !!
-
Yes i live in the uk.:-)+
-
I did for the 1st 10 years of my life. I didn't like it. Besides, the average high temperature has gone up somewhere around 8 degrees just in my lifetime, so it's needed even moreso now. I'm another Texan, and some of our summers are absolutely brutal.

Where I am now, on the central California coast, yes. In fact, I've never had AC in California. Fans, yes. In Santa Barbara, the temp doesn't go much higher than the mid 80's and it's usually down in the low 60s at night. The weather here is ideal most of the time. We are blessed!

Air conditioning is costly and takes a major portion of the electricity bills. Where possible, it will only be used as and when required when the weather is warmer and stale. When there is too much dust in the air, it would be appropriate to use air conditioning. I supposed with all that ,I could live without air conditioning with a bit of discomfort.

Here in the midwest, in St. Louis, it can get pretty hot. Heat I'm not so fond of, but I can deal with it. It's the humidity that is so stifling here....and is very dangerous, too. There's no way we could be comfortable without A/C here.
-
Yes but would i want to live without it - no
-
I can
-
I can and I have. I am very uncomfortable without it though, and more than just hot and sticky. I have allergies, so I become very congested sleeping with the windows open and having dust and pollen blowing in the windows. My parent's house did not have AC. I lived, but was sick a lot.
-
I'm sure it is possible, but I live in Central Florida, let's don't make me test this theory.
-
Yes, I could. I did it when I was a child. Though it would be hard to adjust now, I could do it..
-
Heck yes. I did until I was age 35.
-
I did for the first 11 years of my life. I remember how unbearable sleeping in the heat and humidity could be. I could live without it if necessary now. My basement would be the ideal place to sleep, nice and cool.
-
Yes, but I do find it hard to work when there's no air conditioning, especially in the summer.
-
I have lived without air conditioning in Southern Illinois where it gets 95+ in the summer. but fans help a lot. You sweat, the fan blows and that cools ya.
-
in south texas, no way!!!
-
Yes, but who would WANT to?
-
No way No how! I was born here. Summers with Houstons heat and humidity can be brutal.
-
Air conditioners don't EXIST on the coast where I live. It's never gone past 85
-
Never lived with AC
-
YES
-
I can't stand Air conditioner's...always make me too cold! I love the heat!
-
Up until last summer I did just that; and it gets pretty darn hot around here. I could live without it, but I don't ever want to again.
-
YES.
