lol. Dunno why but I just laughed out loud at this q. Just clicked on "Friends Q&A" and there it was. We call Mimosa's Bucks's Fizz. If I've eaten anything I'd go bloody Mary. But if the stomach was empty I would go for the Mimosa. Can't fully explain that, but it's fact in bingobongoworld!

Each Sunday following church services, I make large pitchers of freshly juiced oranges; adults are always welcome to add champagne. My husband enjoys his substantial breakfast and it's lovely for me to have more time with my family.

Occasional Mimosa, but more likely in the cooler weather, we would have Kahlua and half&half in hot coffee.

Mimosas unless I make my own bloody mary mix. I'm alergic to black pepper so if I go out to eat most brunch places have it in there pre mix.

My "out of the box" response/Q: Why stop at having only Bloody Marys or Mimosas? Why not go the whole 9-yards and make breakfast in bed for your s/o, spouse or partner? After all, she or he deserves to be spoiled a little bit once in a while. Isn't that true? In fact no one even has to do any cooking. You could get take-out from a nearby restaurant or fast food place. OR use pre-cooked pancakes or waffles - heated in the microwave, couldn't you? Yes you could. Of course, in my humble opinion there's absolutely nothing like doing the actual work and making that meal extra-special. BUT to have a bloody Mary or a mimosa and to stop there, seems as though someone is being led on - just a little. BUT I'm the type of man who would get up an hour or so early and get everything as close to being ready to serve as I possibly could. Even if it was cold cereal with some kind of fresh or frozen fruit, a cup or two of coffee, I would still make sure everything is perfect for the lady in my life. There would be candles, her favorite music and I would use the "good china", silverware and glasses. I think the mood makes the food taste just a little better. When I was dating a lady, I would make breakfast in bed or dinner in bed about once a month. We had great times! (((In fact, we may not even get through breakfast. I'm from Florida, we do the Mimosa thing. Also, I don't like tomato juice.

I prefer a Sea Breeze or Bay Breeze.

I hate Bloody Marys

I don't like Bloody Mary's because I don't like tobasco sauce but Mimosa's I love but seldom get them unless I'm on vacation.
