  • With a good system, you can get very handsome odds with blackjack. A solid betting strategy and the ability to keep track of the cards you've seen (not card counting per se, but to at least have a general idea of wether the deck is with or against you) can take you far in blackjack. Craps also has better odds for the player, with less of it hinging on strategy and skill than blackjack. Slots are cash machines stuck in reverse. :) Me, I play horses.

If your winning too much we'll kick you out.
  • Any game that takes a commission such as Pai Gow or Baccarat have better odds than the other games. You increase your odds in Blackjack if you follow basic stratagy. The answer before me is right ... slots are cash machines in reverse! ;o)
  • I was reading recently in some magazine (Scientific American, maybe? I wish I could remember) that some video poker machines actually pay out 102% of what you put in, over a long enough period of time.
  • Blackjack and certain video poker machines are the only casino games where an educated player, using ideal stategy (and card counting in bj) has a theoretical advantage over the house. Pass line and come bets with full odds on craps and perfect basic strategy play on blackjack (without card counting) both have a less than 3% house edge. Meaning you will lose an average of $3 for every $100 wagered, over the course of a lifetime. Avoid at all costs Let it Ride, low limit slot machines, field bets in craps, and any "gimmicks" that aren't a part of normal game play. ie. "royal match" or "double exposure blackjack" Poker, on the other hand, is a game where you are not competing against the house. You play against other players and the only limit to your potential advantage is your skill relative to your opponents. The casino merely provides a location, dealer, chips, and rules for your game. In exchange they take a small percentage of each pot, usually 5% with a maximum that ranges from $1-$5 (depending on the limit of the game. A bank of slot machines advertising "99.99 % Payback" only need contain 1 machine set to that payout. The rest of the machines in that area can be set however the casinos see fit. • I agree that blackjack is probably the fairest game, that is not totally controlled by the house(casino). but, after years and years of playing slot machines, i would put the slots at no. 2. not many people would agree, but there is a knowledge aquired, that can help you win at the slots. my wife plays the tables and i play the slots. everyone has a possible method, that will make a big payoff at the slots. here is my method: take only a certain amount to lose. learn to recoginize when to play. if you had one time, when everything you touched, turned to gold, remember what you did just before gambling and look for those events again. never stay at one machine, if after 5 plays, you do not receive a payback, then go to another machine. remember the machine numbers. if one machine is paying, tomorrow the casino may change the face of the machine, but the internal workings normally stay the same. walk, walk, walk. play numerous machines. you never know which one is about to hit the jackpot, which comes around every 300,000 pulls. i look for a bright-colored machine that attracts my attention. after a while, some people just can feel which slot machine they should play. slot machines go through cycles. cycles of winning and cycles of losing. look and recognize the signs. if a machine pauses, its changing cycles and you never know which cycle will be next. if a person has played a machine for a long time and has lost all their money, sit down and you play the same machine. again, remember the cycles. slot machines are neither hot or cold, three computer chips control the display screen and what is displayed there, next. you have got to outsmart the computer! never play the same number of coins, each time. mix it up. play one, then three, then two. confusing the slots computer is where it is at, period. if using a casino card, push it in and take it out. again, you are attempting to confuse the slots computer. take the casino card, use it a while, then take it out. again, confusing the computer. these little tricks do work. remember, man made the slot computer, you just have to get inside his head and unscramble his program. good luck!
  • Pick a number between one and five.
  • They say blackjack has the best odds, ~Another theoretical number is the return percentage or pay out percentage. This is how much the blackjack player's get to keep of their own bets. Simply put, the return percentage is the percentage of the bet that would be returned to the players if every blackjack play decision were statistically correct. In other words, a 95% payout rate means 100 minus 95, or a 5% house edge. For the blackjack player, this means a loss of 5% of their blackjack bets. You keep 95% of the money you walk into the casino with, and the casino keeps 5%. The game of blackjack offers the best odds of winning for the players, but only if you are aware of the variables that affect the odds. The variables are cumulative. In other words, the standard house edge plus all the rules in your favor minus all the rules against you = the real house edge for that blackjack table.~
  • Blackjack and baccarat have the best odds.
  • LoL i was going to say craps pass line / even odds... But you put your question in "craps" as a category so i guess you already know that...
  • Poker. (against other casino Patrons) For the other games, House will always win (otherwise they wouldnt play with you, would they? Casinos are a business, afterall.)
  • Defnitely Blackjack. If you take a few hours each day for about three weeks and learn how to count cards, you will actually have odds over the casino (Up to 5%, depending on the count). I've payed for half of my college education this way and as much money as the casino makes, it's time for a payback for the average citizen. Regardless of counting cards, just practice playing perfect basic strategy and the house will have a mere .5% advantage over you. It all depends on the house rules as they vary from casino to casino.
  • Man, if that isn't the greatest plugs for slot machines by an "Anonymous" casino employee, then I don't know what is. However next time you might want to use some paragraphs, punctuation, and proper grammar. It makes you look smarter!
  • 1) BLACKJACK house advantage- 0.28 2) BACCARAT house advantage- 1.06 3)CRAPS PASS LINE house advantage 1.17
  • The best odds that you are going to find is with playing basic strategy with blackjack. Gives the smallest house edge. Get yourself a strategy card and do exactly what it says no matter what.
  • I grew up In AC you never win. However if you want to prolong your pain I do pretty well at Spanish 21
  • yes.Craps and blackjack actually have the best odds
  • Yep, Blackjack is your best bet, the casino only has about a 1% edge compared to other games like roulette where you have no chance, especially on the US double 00 wheel.
  • Yes, but the higher the odds of winning, the lower the payout, the same as with Horse racing. In horse racing, if you bet on a horse to "show," you can triple your chances of winning (you win if it comes in first, second or third) but you win far less than if you bet on it to win.
  • black jack cause its easy to remeber when your drunk
  • i beleive it is Craps. that is only if u bet on the pass or dont pass line.
  • It's all down to luck!
  • none of them they are all in favour of the house. How many casinos ever go broke? The sucker and his money soon parted.
  • I agree that Pai Gow or Baccarat has the better odds.
