the only hunting i condone in, is hunting for survival, and hunting to control overpopulation, other than that i hate the idea of hunting, killing innocent animals for no good reason.

I tend to hunt for food - inside the pantry. I've ventured as far as the third shelf, but I'm too scared to go right to the back. Not without a helmet and a spatula, at least.
-
Food. I see no point in hunting for sport.
-
i have only hunted mosquitoes and flys, the first for survival the second for food preservation!
-
Food only. I can see why some ppl will call it a sport because it really is quite hard to do, it takes a lot of training and practice to be able to track and kill something without being seen or heard and doing it as humanely as possible. We only do it for the food, we grow our garden and raise our own meat so now we are pretty organic. It is a lot healthier for us. I like knowing where my food has been and when you go to the store or restaurant I can guarantee you I don't know where it has been, but it was not treated respectfully.

Food and sport. tho i hardly hunt. food, its good to store up and eat later. but sometimes its fun just to sit around and wait to shoot somthing and eat it later. it seems more fun than just going to spend money for it lol.

I hunt for food ... If I'm not going to eat it, I don't kill it !!

I have only fished both for sport and food, I release what I don't intend to eat, No "trophy" fishing for me. I would like an opportunity to try bird hunting especially pheasant or quail, but again I like to eat both of those birds. Grouse hunting might be enjoyable but I don't really like grouse so I do foresee myself doing it.

It's not a sport at all. We do it for food. It is not a sport to kill something for food. It's a serious thing and needs to be done with respect and seriousness.
