I think there is a problem with your Graphics Card. If you want to get yout origenel settings then check your graphics driver from system properties, if Graphics card is crashed then update it from the internet or re-Install Graphics card according to your mother board. Simple. It'd be nice to know what type of computer (Mac/PC/etc) and what OS you have (MacOS/Win2K/XP/Vista) but lets assume you have a pc and Windows XP. Go to device manager = (hit Windows Key-Break together or right click My computer and go to properties) then click the Hardware tab and hit the device manager button. Expand the "Display Adaptors" section and you should see the video card type. Once you know that, go to the manufacturer's location for drivers to obtain the newest one. i would go to device manager and find the graphics card and then click its properties and update the driver
