I do. I have social anxiety. Although, I have a strong mind and can usually control it.
-
Not really a fear. I just can stand being in huge crowds when there's no room to move. It's just really uncomfortable.
-
Naw, not fear. Frequently don't like them, but it's not a fear thing. You?
-
yes, but my fear was triggered off by falling unconcious at a concert years ago. I get aggitated in croud situations now so all i do is try and avoid them best i can.
-
Only if they're angry
-
sometimes i do, when im out in my wheelchair everyone towers above me, and can sometimes be a bit intimidating.
-
No fear of crowds but sometimes a dislike to be in certain ones. I've been in riot crowds that were fun and exciting to start but got scary once they started to move a do things. That was the time to leave. Has anything bad happened to you in a crowd? Did the crowd do something bad? Were the characters around you undesirable? Some things that can be a repressed memory about a crowd that could cause an uncomfortable feeling?
-
I suffer from dislike of crowds.
-
Only if it's a situation where one would have trouble escaping a stampede.
-
I grew up with Epilepsy so I got used to staying out of a crowd. Because of that fact I do have some fear of getting stuck in a crowd.
-
nor really, i get more afraid of the people that are able to lead the crowds
-
No, I don't. I am more comfortable in a crowd, as one can blend in.
-
I am not happy to be in a crowd especially if the surroundings are hot and stuffy. If it is a crowd of toddlers and parents, I don't worry too much other than about the germs. A rowdy rock concert crowd is something I would avoid like a leper. I guess different things bother different people in different conditions.
-
Yes, at times. In the past it was enough to keep me from going just about anywhere there might be lots of people. Even at someone's home, at times I just feel overwhelmed and have to go somewhere quiet and peaceful so I can get control of my breathing and relax. I keep a spray bottle of Rescue Remedy with me to use in case I feel anxious or stressful.
-
I don't, but I did suffer from stage fright when I was younger.
-
I hate large crowds. I go all quiet and shy.
-
I don't, no. Sometimes I feel more comfortable in a big crowd.
-
Yes, being in a crowd makes me feel very uncomfortable, and I don't feel safe.
-
Nah... crowds only bother me when I'm in a hurry... which is most of the time. :P
-
I sometimes do but not much anymore. What usually causes it is spending too much time alone. Once you are thrust from the comfort of that into the direct opposite...it's naturally uncomfortable at first. Same thing if you've been around a lot of people for a long period of time. Then being alone becomes uncomfortable for a while.
-
Yes.
-
i don't suffer fear, i just suffer from being in a crowd of people. its uncomfortable and noisy :(
-
It depends on the makeup of the crowd and their temperament
-
Fear of Crowds? No. Fear of people in the crowd figuring out who I am? Yes.
-
Not really. I don't mind it. It's not as fun as it used to be when I was a kid. (concerts etc) I do hate it when someone spills beer on me or steps on my shoes. I got into a fight two years ago at Kauffman Stadium with a smartass Red Sox fan. It was pretty funny actually.
-
Not in the sense that you might be. For me it's more like addressing a crowd.
-
I used to be. Now it's no problem for me :)
-
No, I'm comfortable in a crowd.
-
Huge crowds make me VERY uncomfortable and I avoid that situation like the plague !
-
I don't like big crowds, and try to avoid, but not really a 'fear.' Will always sit alone at the ball game. Oh, can enjoy it better that way, too.
-
I hate crowds, Im afraid of germs..The more people coughing, sneezing, etc the easier Ill get sick.., anything over 4 is a crowd to me.
-
No, I work around alot of people.
-
Heck NO!!!!! Bring on the crowds the more the merrier;)
-
No I love crowds. Being in and in front of them. The energy is just amazing.
-
I have a tendency toward agoraphobia and I am not comfortable in large crowds..I find the exit and stay close to that. I don't know if it is fear so much as feeling that I can't escape and can't breathe. I don't like being elbowed by strangers (or anyone else for that matter). Sometimes I have to make a quick getaway..we were in a cookware store in Denver (huge store) in a tourist area and before I knew it people were jamming up the aisles..I found Jim, and told him I'd be outside sitting on a bench and out I went. Same thing happened years ago during a house tour..suddenly people were jammed in small quarters and I had to get out immediately..maybe it's claustrophobia! :)
-
I suffer from fear of people in general, right now my mania is manifesting itself in rage towards the genral public and honestly right now I think we could do without them. Forget crowds, I can't even go to the gas station.
-
No ...but my Mom does ...and she always needs me to save her :) !
-
yes, I have a fear of germs, and since I had most of my lung removed because of a germ, I won't go where it's crowded. I can't stand close to people in elevators or even planes. I hate it..I have to take a tranquilizer to get on one.
-
All the time. I usually stay at home and i know im just wasting my life but im too terrified to go out and talk to people
-
Crowds make me uncomfortable, but I don't overly fear them. I prefer peace and quiet, nature, the woods, soft music by candlelight, that sort of stuff. I hate the mall and shopping and big parties where you hardly know anyone----all that kind of noisy, chaotic mess. Lol.
-
No so much suffer and not at all a fear... More like a rational and natural aversion toward them.
-
I wouldn't call it a fear, but I do sometimes feel uncomfortable and disoriented when a lot of people are milling around and talking at once, especially when the noise level gets too high. It's too much sensory stuff going on, and it can be uncomfortable enough that I need to leave.
-
Only the crows that come bearing crosses
-
I only have a fear of a really big crowed when im either stressed or scared of something, if that kinda makes sence?
-
Yes I do. I'm way too paranoid to be in a situation like that.
-
No, but I prefer to stay away from them. I loved crowds when I was younger.
-
Not fear... no. I just dont like people all that much. Mostly because no one ever respects the 5 feet of necessary personal space. Most people move through their environment like tailgators and I hate that! I had a shirt once that read. "If I can smell you, you're too damn close!"
-
I hate crowds, I hate the pushing, the shoving, the rudeness, and the odors. Worst of all I hate when sweaty people rub their arm on yours while passing by UGH!!! disgusting!
-
Yes!
-
oh my gosh yes! i do! what's this phobia called???? i get so scared when im in a crowd of people. i panic, and then it gets hard to breathe, then i try to run
-
I think the reverse is true.
-
"crowdophobia"? nah, mine's more like "crowdedjetaphobia" or "standingroomonlybusophobia"
-
When mood is in low...
-
in a way yes
-
*Raises hand and waves it around*
-
its a recent thing, i try not to even leave the house as much as i can
-
Not at all. I suffer from fear of loneliness! I love crowds, they make me feel alive and joyful.
-
No, I dont fear it but I prefer not to be in big crowds. I dont like being in big cities for very long either. They're nice to visit but I could never see myself living in a big city. Always be a country girl.
-
No, but prefer to stay on the fringes for safety's sake and especially away from barriers of any sort. Have heard of too many crushing/trampling incidents to take the risk of being within large crowds (ie. rock concerts or sport events) especially with children.
-
I do. I sometimes panic when I am somewhere crowded and have to leave the place. at least for a brief moment.
-
No. Not a fear. A dislike, maybe. I'm OK with it though.
-
No! ... I just don't like places where there are lots of care less people ... Peace
-
No. I love being around crowds, all the time.
