Absolutely not. Its a matter of policy. They don't want to be bothered by wining users. To demonstrate like I have done many times: I just clicked "Help" on Yahoo's mail page. It sent me to Yahoo mail Online Support. at http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/ It showed lots of FAQ and help topics about mail and a space to "Ask Yahoo" I typed in "Why don't you read my questions?". The mailbot ( program to read mail and fake answers) used AI technique to match the words in my question to words in the help file or FAQs and showed the pathetic results. it asked: " How are we doing? Are we answering your questions? Absolutely! Usually Sure Hardly Not even close! " I checked "Not even close!" and "Submit" A mini window opened. It said "Thanks for your feedback If you would like to send us more detailed comments, please type them in below:" I Typed "Why don't you read my F&^%$#@ questions?" and hit "Send Comment" " This will I am sure as in the past produce a never ending e-mail chatter with Yahoo's mailbot. Each new reply gets more help file snippets based on the words in my reply. For example : ============================================================ " Date: Tue, 12 Oct 2004 11:34:28 -0700 (PDT) From: "Joe Shepherd" <joeshep2@yahoo.com> View Contact Details Subject: RE: Feedback - PLEASE READ MY ORIGINAL QUESTION To: "Yahoo! This is truly a first. > We have investigated the issue you mentioned in your > email, however we > were unable to duplicate it. You mean that when you sent e-mail to mail@yahoo-inc.com, you actually got a human reply. WOW that fixes everything. But when you said: > were unable to duplicate it. You were probably working on what was not my original problem. The "Coolie errors" was an old problem, as quoted in your earlier reply. > > Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Mail. > > > > If you get a cookie error, or are cycled back to > the > > Sign In screen with ... It is wonderfull that you actually read the e-mail but you see to have answored the wrong problem. As stated in the title of this message RE: Feedback - PLEASE READ MY ORIGINAL QUESTION (KMM22243207V59225L0KM) I had changed the title of my reply so the dreded MAILBOT could not find it. Could you be a discised MAILBOT. Could you have found me any way. Could you have automatically scanned the quoted replies at the end of my message. WAITE What a full I have been! I left on the stupid case numbers. So lets try again only this time without the stupid case numbers. "(KMM22243207V59225L0KM)" ======================================================= --- Yahoo! Yahoo sucks for sure. Absolutely no help and this is for a paid-for Mail account (upgraded to faciliate POP retrieval). All we want to do is reset the password but it won't allow it. I guess our filed aaway info is different than what they have on file. So we can't even get TO the "Secret" question (i.e What street did you grow up on, What's the name of your first pet, etc). So I'm insanely frustrated and am trying to locate a Tech Support PHONE NUMBER! It's no where to be found on Planet Earth. I HATE Yahoo! I will invest in Google ONLY and never again support that site again in my life. It's a dumb company anyway - think about it: How much did they spend on BROADCAST.COM and GEOCITIES.COM? Compare those BILLIONS spent with what they've actually done with the purchases... For your extreme amusement, please look THAT up... You'll dump your stock if you own any.

I would like to ask Yahoo why my computer will not lete me sign into my email account. I have been caregiver50 for ten years and i changed passwords and every thing else, yet it will not let me sign into to my email account. Hopeless, David Farris Sr. Missouri cell- 913 620 7462

YES 1-800-318-0631

The spam mail from Mailbot Yahoo is not from them. It is coming from AT&T. They tried to help me to stop the e-mail by marking it as spam. I was told it wouldn't come to me again, but it does. It must be treated as spam and reported to FCC, FTC or AG, whichever one handles spam. Also report it to TV stations. I get the e-mail every day and am tired of it. If you don't use Outlook or Outlook Express, enabling SSL is useless.
