I once traveled 3000 miles. :-) My mom was expecting me in a week and when she saw me there she just kind of stared dumbly at me for a few seconds before screaming and hugging me.

As soon as I can pause the DVR.........get a sip of juice from the frig........tuck in the 4 yr old sweetheart........then stand at the entrance of the master bedroom and announce that Tarzan has arrived.

As far as i can run/bike/walk/swim because I can't afford anything else. Yes, I would swim across the ocean to see someone, but I would probably drown.

I've traveled to the other side of the planet. 38 hours in the air, 37 hours on the ground. :)

I am going to travel 1000 km (700 miles?) soon, because that's where she lives... I'd go anywhere, but somehow I am happy she is that close. It is a distance I would even try by bike, but I guess I take a car or a bus.
