Insufficient symptoms to render a diagnosis. Take the dog to a vet for an exam and a little Q&A to ferret out other symptoms, times, etc. Test may be needed to determine what is wrong.

Need more info, but I definitely wouldn't take it lightly. My collie is very furry, so he pants a whole lot if it gets too hot. Could that be part of it?

does he drink more water than he used to?

Please note I am not a vet but my Italian Greyhound has the same issue and I took him in for tests and found that he has Cushings Disease.

We are not vets and this isnt a free walk in clinic. Take your fur family to a vet!
