The problem is not with the starter but with the battery. It takes alot of AMPS to turn the starter over so you may still have lights and other systems that do not require that much energy. If the battery is not that old or tests out ok then it would be a loose connection somewhere. A loose connection will act like resistance not allowing the full amperage to get to the starter. Test your battery first, this is most likely your problem. Good Luck, God bless

first you need to clean the terminals of the battery use baking powder and water on the term. and it will fizz up then clean them good to where you can see fresh metal and crank the bolts back down and wiggle them to see if you have any play in them charge the battery and try it then it might not be the starter please rate my answer if it works youll save money on a sterter
