Grandparents rights are also up to the courts. The entire child/grandparent relationship is changing in states throughout the country. Each court ruling covers new ground. I suggest you call the family court and get yourself an advocate of the court, so you can make sure your rights are protected.

Grandparents have rights in only a handful of states. Even then, there are very strict guidelines under what circumstances this can occur. The supreme court has ruled against this being a standard practice. This will also be particular to your jurisdiction (your local judges). I'd suggest consulting with an attorney in your area.

i think so cause grandparents sometimes will take the kids if the parents rights are terminated
