A cheap piece of costume jewelry that has an interesting story behind it. A guy I dated a long time ago liked old cars. He purchased a 1959 (I think)Chrysler Windsor and began to strip the interior. When he removed the back seat, he came across a small, Christmas wrapped box that was wedged between the seat and the trunk. He threw it aside and gave it to me later. The tag read "Merry Christmas Barbara, X-mas 1963". . .1963! I opened the box to find the most unusual necklace I had ever seen, it was lovely though. Every time I wear it people comment on how beautiful it is and the story of how I got it is fun to tell.

It would have to be my engagement ring and the wedding ring. They wedding band fits together with leaves entwining the stone on the engagement part. We had them welded together so 'stuff' wouldn't get in between all the time so it looks like to rings but is just one now. I also have a necklace that is made from a green turquoise rock in a silver case that was a Tibetan hair ornament with large amber and coral beads.
