Oh, I win a laptop at least once a week for being the umteenth visitor to a website I've never heard of, countless lotteries and sweepstakes I have never entered, the unknown guy at the unknown bank who was left in charge of the fortune of a gentleman who died and had no beneficiaries so wants to give me a hefty share, and then there are those nice people in Nigeria who want to give me a large percentage of several million dollars just for the privilige of using my bank account to smuggle it out. I guess I am just born lucky, huh?

I won a $300 gift card to a DVD website. It was a contest I entered on EZSweeps.com. My hubby used to laugh at me all the time when I entered those things. He couldn't believe it when I got the congrats letter in the mail. This was about a month before Christmas, so all our friends got a DVD as a gift that year.

Translating the quotations as "virtually" and not actually, I won $3.5 million just a month ago from the Reader's Digest Sweepstakes. The guy called m and told me I'd "won" and then directed me to a website where I would make arrangements to pay the $5000 up-front processing fee. Needless to say, he didn't get me for the $5000, but he was pretty unhappy that I managed to have his bank account shut down and his assets seized. LOL

Spam messages filled with prizes. They are one of life's great annoyances and they're right up there with spam calls.

I won a pair of tickets to a lacrosse game. Answered a trivia question. If I knew that was the prize I honestly wouldn't have bothered, but I'll admit it was fun to watch the game.
