Actually, three claim to be.... Lebanon, capital Beirut (Republic) Jordan, capital Amman (Constitutional Monarchy) Egypt, capital Cairo (Republic) Lebanon has not legally held elections and the role of President is currently vacant and assumed by the cabinet. Syria is supposedly a republic, but is currently under military regime. Capital is Damascus. Palestine isn't legally a country but is a democracy with UN and Israel scrutinizing their elections.
