In my exoperience, snoring can be fixed. I use Breathe-Rite nasal strips, and a Snore Stopper wrist alarm which wakes me when I snore. I am told that this reduces my snores to an acceptable level.

No, I would not end a relationship due solely to his snoring. However, I am married to a snorer and for the first eight years we were married, I never got a good night's sleep. We now sleep at opposite ends of the house and we both sleep great.

No. If I were that shallow, my wife and I would've killed each other YEARS ago. We both snore so whichever one of us gets to bed first would keep the other up if we hadn't learned to cope. As we live in an open concept house (no possibility of separate bedrooms; we can hear EVERYTHING in the WHOLE house from ANYWHERE) we HAD to develop coping skills.

I have worn ear plugs for 32 years...I would never leave him for that reason.

absolutely not! snoring really doesn't bother me that much... both my dogs snore louder than grandpa!

No, that's a common flaw that a lot of people have. Don't end a good relationship just because of something minor like that. (Plus that, you won't find many men that don't snore.)

No, I would ask them to go to the doctor to get it checked out. If the snoring is that bad, it's probably due to some kind of sleep issue, or breathing problem.

thats a really lame excuse. Be honest and up front that it bothers you and tell them to go get help. There are many remedies available now to combat snoring. Dont be shallow.
