yup!!!!! its pay day today and i am cvonsiderably happier today than yesterday!!!!!!!
-
No money doesnt make you happy but it certanly gives you a lot more freedom to persue it.
-
Nope. That's a common misconception.
-
Never. If I can get whatever I want without money, I would be most happy!
-
temporarily but not really long term. I think it would be nice not to have to worry about the bills but if you have things handed to you to easily it would lead to boredom & then stupid stuff that would get you in trouble. Look at every other person whose became rich & lazy it just corrupts their lives but when they were struggling & getting by they seemed happier because they had real friends & family that loved them for who they were not what they had. Thats my opinion.
-
Not really. It might offer a temporary satisfaction that is sort of like or is a delusional kind of happiness, but it certainly doesn't last.
-
My money makes my creditors happier than it makes me.
-
ok so if someone walked in and handed me $10,000 and said, "here i dont want this" i would be happy. The money would make me happy. If i am a sad person and i have money i dont think i would become happy...i'd still be a sad person just with 10 grand
-
It allows me to not stress about the little things in life, so yes. Money does make me happy.
-
The first feeling I have of money is security. When I am feeling secure, then I am happy. I'm not a shallow person, but I like knowing that if the toilet got clogged; I can afford to quickly get a plumber in to fix it. Or if I wanted to go out and spend alittle on Bath and Bodyworks items, I can. Its not that these are life threating issues, but they are basics. Its little things like that, basically I'm a simple girl otherwise.
-
I think money is pretty ugly, and it smells bad, but spending it would make me happy, if it would come in faster than it goes out.
-
Nope. It pisses me off, if anything.
-
No I find no peace with money.
-
For a little while.
-
I wouldn't know but if I had to choose I would say no.
-
No..makes you alot of things..but happy isnt one of them :)
-
No. Happiness comes from being content with what you have. It almost always turns out badly when someone suddenly receives a large amount of money they weren't expecting.
-
Yes, many people think that love and family are more important and money can't buy that and they are right but, money can take away stress, give you more time to spend with that family and and those loved one, it can allow you to pursue your dreams, having money doesn't mean you stop wanting to do things with your life , it just enables you to the things you want and not necessarily just the things you have to. If we didn't live in a world that required money for survival then it wouldn't be important.
-
I used to think not, but coming into some money right now would make me very happy because I could pay off some bills and sleep better at night.
-
Damn Yea!!!
-
Money is very dirty. The more you make of it, the more worries you have. So, overall, no.
-
only if you really want something- like something you need to buy
-
no...it pays my bills, but you can't buy happiness!
-
No but it helps
-
Yess if you let it .. !!
-
I don't know that it ultimatley makes me happier, although it does allow me to pay the bills and buy the catfood and do the other things I need to do, which makes me less stressed.
-
Give me some and then I'll tell you if I'm happy...lol
-
Lets just say momey makes you less miserable... :-)
-
It certainly helps..
-
Yes it does. It pays for medical aid, food, clothing and shelter. I could not be happy if I or my family had to be sick, homeless, hungry and cold, due to the lack of money needed to pay for those things.
-
Well... put it this way...:
-
It can take the sting out of day to day life. Capitalism rules!
-
Money in itself does not (or so I've heard, I have never had enough of it to REALLY put that to the test), but it enables one to provide the necessities in life and to acquire things that may make you happier. But then again, usually, the more you have, the more you want.
-
Money can buy you things that can make you happy for a short period of time.
-
only if you chose it to.
-
yeah!!! lol but the question really is... does money make rich people happy?
-
no, you make yourself happy. money is only useful as a vehicle to fuel your dreams.
-
not on its own no, but it would be nice to not have to worry about it so much when the household bills come in.:)
-
Makes me happy, when I have it!
-
Consider Johnny Rocco: he always wanted more
-
You mean, being able to afford the things I need? Hell yes!
-
Money makes me happy(: It,s other things in life that make me sad.
-
No. But if you don't have ANY, (I've been there), it can be a little uncomfortable.
-
Ha, it certainly helps, but it is not the soul cause for happiness. Happy comes from the inside. But i will say, money can sure help the outside look even better!! haha
-
Good question. Money alone, probably not, but it sure does help:)
-
No. Its meaningless. The only thing that brings happiness is learning.
-
I think certainly it does. I was very not very assertive at school with 10 years old, my mom paid for a great and expensive sychologist , and since then I learned a lot of techniques, after 3 years I did not have any problems with my classmates, and a lot of friends and also girlfriend. Also I wanted to learn English, I traveled to USA and there I learned it, and now it makes me very very happy to be able to read, talk and listen in english and to visit webpages like this one. Also makes me very happy to be far more educated than the other people in my country and to have a lot of experiences. For me education is very important for happines, I cannot afford to study in harvard, if I could, I would be extremly happy. All those things cost money.
-
i have to have money when i dont im angry
-
The richest will never make a suicide.
-
To become money could make you happy, to use money could make you happy, to have an appropriate money reserve could make you happy, but there is no guarantee. And many things, which have nothing to do with money, can also make you happy.
-
I have to admit, yes. But not at all times, money is just around for quite a short time. My friends and my family always make me happy.
-
It goes a long way in making me cofortable but it's definitely not what makes me happy.
