My 1999 Silverado truck won't run after I leave it parked on steep driveway and don't drive it for more than 48 hours. The engine will turn but it dies after I let off the ignition. What's wrong?

I Changed the fuel filter on it and it works great!!! According to Chiltons, you should change it out every 30,000 miles!

new body style pick up is good for this. if it has a 5.3 the fuel pressure regulator may be leaking, it would cause this problem, in most cases relace the regulator it should be fine

Your not getting enough fuel to the engine obviously. Try starting it occassionally just to prime the fuel pump and see if that works.
