I use a wireless network for 2 computers, 2 laptops and 2 xBox 360's but I wish I could have everything wired to save on the headache. But I'm too lazy to run the wires and to cheap to pay to get it done.
-
Yes, I have a wireless network in my home. I just added a wireless printer/fax/scanner/copier. Very cool.
-

-
I have..but at this time I am using dial up.
-
I have in the past, but they are a pain in the neck.
-
Yes, but only when I use my laptop (so I can roam around the house and porch and back yard). Otherwise I use a wired network.
-
Yes, I use wireless under Sun Microsystems Solaris, OpenBSD and Windows. When I was younger, I was somewhat involved in war driving, but being a whitehat, I never did any harm and always left 'calling cards', informing the network administrators of their network's security flaws. Amazing how so many of them never did anything to fix the problems!!!
-
Yes, we're totally wireless. We have two desktops (one largely unused) and three laptops running off it as well as a printer.
-
hmmmm.. got a wireless router, but i have turned off the wireless.. its too much of a security threat and i dont really need it... i just use a switch and ethernet cables :)
-
I'm not that advanced on these suckers yet.
-
Yes i need woreless as i travel a lot with being forces and its easier ive always gine for wireless and would rrecommend nit to anyone, most new laptops have a wireless connection built into them.
-
I used to and it was a pain in the ass sometimes. When I got a smokin fast connection, I absolutely did not want to share it and slow everything down.
-
I use and set up wireless networks for family and friends, the main issue with the basic (un-specialised) wireless network is the connection, If you are planning to use it (like me) for online/LAN gaming and require a constant strong signal, wired may be the best choice. If you’re just using it for internet surfing, file sharing, printing etc then it is fine as it doesn’t require a strong constant in/out signal. Games are affected as they need the constant strong connection, if they don’t, they will start lagging and those who play online/LAN games will know what that’s like. This type of lag is due to the game server not responding your commands or you don’t receive the commands of other players from the server.

yes and Its rubbish it is always going down but is really good when we go away and can get a wireless connection on my dads laptop :D

Everyone connected to the Internet uses a wireless network, even if connected to a modem which is connected to a cable. Each time that data traverses the network it passes through routers and switches that are often interconnected to wireless LANs, WANs, MANs, CANs... even GANs (satellite).
-
Yep, AirPort Extreme
-
I was wondering if you used a wireless network at home, in your office, or small business. I have a wireless network at home and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love sitting on the couch surfing the web, I've even sat in bed a couple of times and used the laptop. My primary computer is actually a laptop, so it's extra convenient for me.
-
My computer is Wired, however i use Wireless on my laptop.
