  • I say "Moe - Bull", which has two. Dictionary.com says it has two, also.
  • How would you even say it with three syllables? Just curious?
  • Although the dictionaries I have seen always say that mobile has two syllables, when I was a student in the United Kingdom in the 1970s, a majority of my fellow students pronounced it with three syllables when it meant the object with independently balanced components. The pronounciation was mow-bill-ee, with the stress on the first syllable. Since then, I have only come across the pronounciation occasionally, so that I regard it as an unusual alternative pronounciation probably only current in the United Kingdom. I am not aware of any other meaning of the word ever having three syllables.
