Most "realistic" because they most resemble a modern day jump suit that any pilot might wear. Prolly cuz the timeline is set closest to our own than any other series. You didn't think Shatner's double-breasted green velvet lounger looked comfortable? Gosh I did. LOL!!

The jumpsuits were certainly the most practical, but the Monster Maroons looked most like what a spacegoing military would wear.
