At home, yes since we usually eat very late and noone calls at that time. If I'm out to eat, it depends if I am expecting a call.
-
I never ever answer my phone.
-
Only if it's someone important, or hot, or sexy, or.... you get the idea
-
No i say i pass and someone else answers lol
-
I will if I'm alone, but usually not if I'm with family or company. It's like saying that the call is more important than them, which is kinda rude. . I wont answer if we're in the middle of a conversation. Thats what voicemail's for.

yes, because i hate missing calls, lol.
-
Depends on if its my mom or grandma...if its just a friend of my daughters, usually no...Hey we're eatin' here...
-
Depends on whose calling, but usually yes I do.
-
I do, but I usually ask if I could call them back, as I don't like my dinner to get cold! On the normal phone, we don't have caller ID or answer machine, so there's no way to see who's calling hence I do answer the phone, but if the mobile rang, I think I would ignore it unless someone calling out of the ordinary.
-
Depends on who it is. My husband will answer it most of the time anyway.

Hubby is on call 24/7 so he answers one of the three phones he carries with him at all times. That's the one that is a direct line to the computer. It calls him when someone tried to make an unauthorized entry. The other two are for employees and vendors, and he usually lets them take a message if he's busy. (Yes, he gets paid for being on call). The house line is always kept open for an emergency call from the elderly parents, or Sonny, wife and baby. Once, when we were way out in the wilderness area of Yellowstone National Park, an hour from everything, he had to take a call. It's amazing there was even cell access there.

I don't unless I'm alone and not too hungry but I have a friend plus an ex-friend who both do that and not only that but will actually make time to spend with me and then spend the majority of it on the phone. Regarding the ex-friend, there was another issue that led to the friendship ending but needless to say it was based on a lack of ettiquette. It's also highly rude.

If im with my parents at the table, no i dont because it cannot be anything more important.

Sure, if I want to. With caller-ID it's pretty easy to see if I want to answer it or not.
-
If I know the caller, yes.
