It is too far North,though the Pacific Gulf Stream keeps the coastal areas in the south part of Alaska quite mild and rainy, like the coast of Washington State.The Aleutian Islands off the coast of of Alaska have the same climate as the San Francisco bay area,and is too warm to snow.It is because of the golf stream.
