No and yes. Cramping just before and after ovulation is normal; this is because the egg actually bursts out of your ovaries (yow).but the cramping may be a pregnancy if you have missed your period or it was light. If the cramping is unusual for you take a pregnancy test (if you haven’t had a period) and go see your doctor; there are other causes of cramping (STD’s, tubule pregnancies).

Yes and no. It could be cramping caused by implantation, or it could merely be 'mittelschmerz', which is ovulatory pain caused by the ovarian follicle stretching or bursting as the egg is released. If you aren't pregnant already (and want to conceive) take note if you experience this pain midway through your cycle each month. Keeping track of it can help with timing intercourse to achieve conception.

i am actually in the same boat. i am experiencing cramping and it has only been like 3 days after ovulation and i had unprotected sex on ovulation day so i think i am pregnant but i am not sure if this is an actual sign...if anyone could help i would very much appreciate it....baby dust to eveyne

I am actually experiencing the same thing. Two days after ovulation i experienced mild period like cramps and they have been lasting off and on for the last 5 days. I can usually feel ovulation but the pain only lasts for a little while so this is totally out of character for me. My husband and i have been trying for another baby so i am hoping this is it. I still have a week until i am due though and the wait is driving me insane. With my last pregnancy i experienced pain but later found out it was a burst cyst so any pregnancy sympotms i had i put it down to that. I am hoping for your sake and mine that these pains straight after ovulation means we are going to test positive.

I've been experiancing the exact same thing. It's so hard to tell if they are just ovulation cramps or whether or not I am actually preggers. Here's to hoping it's the latter.

This is so difficult. We have had unprotected sex 3 times around and during the days that I'm sure that I ovulate. I have been getting cramps for days now. I have two sons already and I can't remember whether I got this with them although it was only a year ago! But I do know that both times I have been pregnant (in fact ALL the times - I lost two, I thought that I was going to 'come on' as I had period pain. But that was embedding). Anyway, I don't normally notice this cramping 2 weeks before my period is due so hopefully, it means there is a baby embedding. Good luck tyou all xx

i have the same thing, my ovulation was a couple of days ago and have been haveing stomach cramping for the last 6 days, i thought it was ovulation pain but i still have it 2 days after ovulation. could i be pregnant, im not due for 2 weeks yet?

Hi, the last day of my egg white was friday, we had sex 4 times between thurs and fri as i am under impression this is time that sperm can get through and live whilst ovulation comes. It is now monday and i have slight stomach cramps. does this mean I am ovulating late or have i ovulated and this is the egg on the move to the uterus?? Any idea's??

i am having the same thing. Ovulation happened on monday i am sure of it. It is now Thursday. i have been having mild cramping. feels like stretching. Just wondered if i could be pregnant.

i think that it definitely can mean you are pregnant. Your body naturally prepares itself to fertilize. all it needs is some sperm to reach the egg. Lets just hope it happens. Baby dust to all!!

Anyone turn out pregnant? I've had the samething going on. I o'd around the 14th or 15th, had cramping up untill this morning(they just stopped this morning)6 dpo, also had sore nipples for the past 3 days, with very creamy cm for the past few days too! Hi all, I ovulated on 21st and have been having cramps ever since. I also have sore breasts and they hurt a lot. I am very confused about all this, coz i think this is too early to have symptoms of pregnancy, but it is also too early for my period. Did anyone have the same condition and tested positive for pregnancy? any answer wud be appreciated.Thanks!

Yes, I've been told by my Dr. that cramping 6 days after o could be the embryo embedding into the uterus. My Dr also told me that two to four days after you may possibly take a pt to find out. However implantation may take anywhere from 6-12 days. My advice from experience is to hold tight wait until period is missed so the test can be very exciting if positive. From experience when trying to take pregnancy tests too early I just begin to get frustrated, sad and my impatience becomes wearing. Just remember that if you test every day from five days prior to period or a week after (please be responsible) the pregnancy will be there regardless!!! Best of luck to all!!!!

I've been experiencing the same thing. I'm 9 days post ovulation and been feeling symptoms like breast tenderness with nipple sore, cramping more like a mild sharp pain in my lower stomach. I also been feeling very tired and been eating like crazy. I'm supposed to get my period no later than five days today I will keep posting any changes. Baby Dust to everyone!!!

To start off, got a pos ov test on jan 17th spotted on the 18th BD on 17th and 18th PM, Iv had the cramping for 4 days now and also some mild pinching, mostly on left side,lower back is aching not pain but a dull ache, period not due till Feb 6, got awhile before i can test though, will let ya know!!!

im having the same problem right now. im not to start until a week from today. i think i ovulated last week. of course after that ive had headaches ive had an increase in v.d. an a little bit of cramping. everytime my boobs get touched they hurt a little. ive been extremily tired and emotional. ive had little pains on my right side and a little backache for a day but that was it. i took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago but came back negative. everybody i talked to told me that it was to early if i am and to wait to see i start. if i dont than take a P.T. well see. but my problem in all of this is im on b.c.p. ive missed one here and there but i doubled up the next day like your suppose to do. i want to be but my spouse dont want any more right now. im exited but im a little afraid. oh well it will be ok.

Iv got cramping,headaches and lower back pain,eating alot too,nipples sore,feel bloated evry now and then.I have my period due in a few days.so im not usre wether its my period or if im preg...i dont ever remeber feeling pain this far before my period,my pain usualy only stars the day my period starts..i will let u know if i come out pos or neg.

I'm was suppose to be ovulating between october 30- November 2, I had unprotected sex October 29th & November 1st; all of a sudden today (November 2nd) I'm getting mild cramping in my lower abdomen & a dull pain that comes & goes on my right side. Is this ovulation cramping?, if it is should my spouse & I have intercourse just to make sure we concieve? Or could it be a sign of implantation?

i had sex on the 2 and the 3rd of November i ovulate on the 3rd on November i've been having backaches light headed and no sore breast minor cramps i don't get my period until the 19th ill have to wait and take a preganncy test on the 17 to make sure pray for me and my wife has been planning this for a 2 years now. but so far do any body thinks these are early things
