haha like i konw oi dont beleive in that stuff, but everytime i hang my foot over the bed i imagine that, and i slowly pull my foot up. and i always have to turn on the light, to get up :/ strange i know.. ://
-
I don't fear anything when I get into bed, but I can't sleep with my hands or feet hanging off the bed because I'm not sure what might "get" them! lol
-
Not as I'm about to climb into bed but I don't like the 'naked' feeling of leaving my foot hanging over the side. That's whether the lights are on or off!
-
I also get that funny feeling of being exposed and have to pull any overhanging limb back onto the bed. BTW, I'm that way when I race up the stairs at night too! hehe
-
depends on what movies i've been watching! i have a very active imagination...
-
yes!! and from behind the shower curtain! and my closet! and the backseat of my car!
-
There's no room under the bed for creatures, that's where I keep the overflow of skeletons from my closet.
-
Only every night, who sleeps with all that fear!!!
-
No the monster stopped paying rent so i had to kick him out. he was very angry about that.
-
I have a load of trolls caged under my bed and when I get downrated I use it as a trampoline and take great pleasure in hearing them squeal.
-
Oh, Thank You VERY Much!! Now you've brought back all my childhood fears. I just KNOW the mummy's hand is going to creep out and get me. Imagine my shame in trying to explain this to my husband tonight. He's going to think I'm nuts. :-)
-
No. If there was one he would have to be exceptionally good at hiding as I have never seen him and what is he waiting for? Shouldn't he have grabbed me by now?
-
I used to after watching Twilight Zone when I was a kid.
-
There are creatures under my bed - hundreds of bugs and millions of microorganisms. They don't bother my feet much though.
-
Until the dust bunnies come to life, I'm safe.
-
Naw, I'm too fast for him. It's one skip from the doorway and straight in! :)
-
My mattress sits right on the floor, so no. But I would be really scared of that otherwise.
-
Nope. For whatever reason I was never frightened about things like that.
-
The night after I came home from the mental hospital? HELL YEA!!
-
Impossible. My bed is on a platform, it has six drawers under it.
-
I know they are there, but I don't fear them. I know that they will attack my feet, but I know they will quickly retreat. The reason I know this is that my cats know I am higher on the food chain; it is the monsters who fear ME!
-
I have a platform bed so I don't worry about things under the bed. I have a real life creature who will swipe at my feet as they lay in the bed, it's my psycho tabby cat Skippy.
-
LOL, yes I always thought it was alligators and snakes for some reason. I even have to make sure my feet are covered by blankets and never hang off the bed. Of course I did outgrow it though.
-
I remember that feeling from when I was a kid. Every once in a while now I get a little creeped out when I wake up in the middle of the night. Sometimes I even have to turn the light on.
-
Not anymore. I did when I was a child.
-
Yeah, as long as she comes out once in a while to cook and clean. she is a free spirit.
-
I sometimes get that fear... in a bout of Irrational thinking.
-
at one point in my life something changed and since then I believe that any creature under my bed would be more scared of me than me of it.
-
When I was younger, at times, yes. Now that I am older, I still won't hang my arm off the side of the bed for fear of something grabbing it. LOL Even though I know better, it's still a 'thing' with me.
-
You've seen them too???? They follow me from every house I live in, waiting, waiting...
-
Actually, I've discovered that if I take a running leap onto my bed from across the room, I'm never close enough to the gap between my bed and the floor for the creature to reach me : ) Thus, I no longer fear him.
-
and I thought I was the only one to think like that as not a kid anymore. I used to feel that more but my bed is full of stuff and 'they' might not get a space there. But I still get a feeling that 'they' may be behind that corner. I sometimes tell them not to see me when I'm changin clothes
-
i get an unconfortable fear when my feet are not under my blanket or hangin off the edge of a bed... lol
-
no but i am afraid that some day i will come back home from school and no one will be home and i sit onto my bed and there is a person underneath my bed with a buck knife waiting to cut my tendon
-
When I was younger I did. I got over that a long time ago. Well, until this question. THANKS! :-P
-
Not now... but when I was about 6 years old I used to be scared to death of having a monster pulled my feet while I was sleeping.
