This is a tough one because I bake cookies all the time and love them, but I remember my mother's brownies that she used to make around the holidays all the time and that memory is so strong that I will cast the vote for brownies, but just barely.

I love to crunch..I like brownies alright..but my first choice would be a really crunchy cookie loaded with walnuts or pecans or almonds or peanuts..depending on what else was there..I'd like just a touch of chocolate chips..don't like so many chips that I think I'm eating a candy bar..and I'd also like a few craisins..you know, dried cranberries..add some oatmeal to the mix and have the cookies made of stoneground whole wheat flour and not that white stuff, and I'm a very happy girl! :)

I go through, at least, two boxes of brownies a week. Two gallons of chocolate ice cream, too. I can't stop eating warm cookies. I'm going with brownies, on this one.

There are SO many good cookies out there, so many great recipes but, oh! brownies are a world of their own dessert, snack, meal:-) And you can even add some orgasmic things like Cherry preserves to send them into the universe!!! So how about some cherry brownies or with caramel?
