Yes. I work at the Sundance Festival every year. I have been to Sundance and Slamdance, X-Dance and LapDance, all that run at the same time as Sundance.

Yes. While serving with the NATO Fleet in the late seventies/early eighties, we popped into Rosyth, Scotland for a two week short work period. I took the train to Edinburgh and was surprised to find that the Edinburgh Film Festival was running while I was there. I couldn't resist and attended. It was marvellous! I have since attended the Toronto, Montréal and Victoria Film Festivals, as well as two jaunts to Austin for SxSW. I hope to get to Sundance eventually. The adrenaline rush is amazing at the festivals. It's so easy to get pumped up about film in general as an artistic media. Hope this helps.
