Outdoors Camping and fishing + up
-
It's funny. I would rather go tenting, while my wife would choose the hotel. She enjoys camping, and I can enjoy a nice hotel, but we would definetly choose opposite of each other.
-
Camping would be much more fun.
-
I don't like camping, but I am not too keen on the fancy hotels either, unless someone else was paying. For me, accommodation just needs to be clean and simple. I travel amongst people who have nothing in Bali. I don't need to rub it in their faces by staying in some ritzy palace.
-
That's not a FAIR question. I love camping, and I also love ritzy hotels. Here's what it comes down to for me. I can find/make friends in any setting. Well maybe friends is the wrong definition. I seek out people to have a fun evening with. I'm going to choose the fancy hotel.
-
my idea of " roughing it" is a holiday inn that does not have a bar!!!
-
I like camping, but give me the four star hotel ANYday!
-
tough question because i love both. i think i would choose camping though.
-
If I have to camp in a tent, I'll take the fancy hotel. If I can camp in a camper, I'll camp. But I don't like those nasty big campgrounds with all the hookups and the nasty showers and stuff. I like to camp in state forests where there's usually not too many other people, outhouses for potty, and a lake to wash up in!
-
I will take the fancy hotel room. I don't enjoy camping. I never have and never will.
-
The outdoors is a nice place to visit (at least while my allergy meds last), but I wouldn't want to live there. The hotel room is my choice, fancy or not.
-
At my age, a shower, toilet and soft bed are necessary to survival. I won't camp anymore unless I can do it in a nice mobile home with a microwave and dish TV. I have done my fair share of feeding the mosquitos, eating ashes in the pancakes, and sleeping on pointy rocks. I have earned the right to avoid having to do it again. I do still have my tent and all the related equipment. Just in case I change my mind.
-
outdoors would be fun, I miss camping!
-
Fancy hotel room everytime. My days of smelling like a fire and peeing in a hole are long gone. ;)
-
Much as I used to enjoy camping in a tent, I realize now that it was purely my desire to get into my best friend's pants that drove me to it. Now that he is long gone and I am much older, give me luxury and the Westin heavenly bed every time!
-
Fancy hotel - no contest. In fact my husband and boys are away camping this weekend and I chose to stay home - not that they had space in the car to fit me if I wanted to go - with all the gear they take! I spent 6 months living in a tent in South America and three months in a tent travelling around the US, I am all done with camping!
-
Fancy Hotel. I love indoor plumbing.
-
Outdoors in a tent why pay megabucks to stay in a fancy hotel
-
To me camping isn't really camping unless your either in a tent or sleeping under the stars. I rather be in a tent when I am camping.
-
Fancy hotel: no bugs, no nasty stuff. and you have a bathroom to wash up. I love fishing and hikeing and skiing and all out door sports but I am not into the cave man stuff if and when I am going to be camping I will be homeless, but in the mean time I will chose the hotel over the camping outdoors.
-
tent. and only one person around to cuddle... oh, and the fire, wine and one guitar... damn, i hate this office!!!!!!!
-
Hotel room. I had enough of camping when I was a boy scout.
-
Hmmmm let me think....Hotel, with a jacuzzi at the bottom of a large kingsize bed, room-service bringing me and my lover champagne and lobster, a hotel bar when we want to emerge from our room.... OR Camping in tent, the romance of sleeping under the stars, rain gently tapping on the tent roof and walls, packed sandwiches and warm wine out of a plastic cup Right, I've made my decision....Yep it's the hotel everytime
-
Let's see...since I consider a Holiday Inn as camping...I think the hotel room would win. We could always sit on the balcony in the jacuzzi and look at the stars.
-
Outdoors in a tent, but not with Dr. Watson...
-
To me it is not camping unless you are in a tent.
-
Camping under the stars. I've a fancy soft cozy bed at home, so I want to try something different at times.
-
Hotel room so I can play with all the stuff and have the modern convience of TV and indoor plumbing.
-
Fancy hotel room
-
Fancy hotel everytime!!
-
Camping.
-
5 star hotel any day of the year. Not a camping person whatsoever. I like my creature comforts and I like my hot showers and comfy beds.
-
i enjoy both.
-
I like a hotel room in a really nice hotel with a fluffy bed. :)
-
I haven't been camping in a long time. I was in the infantry in the army and spent many nights in the woods sleeping on the ground and all but it's not the same as family-type camping with the firepit and all. I like being cofortable but I don't need the luxury of an expensive hotel. My s/o has no appreciation for it so it's difficult. I'd take camping any day.
-
You can have your hotels of any stars. I"d much rather be in the wilderness anywhere. Hotels to me are just so boring. It's not my thing. I love the outdoors and nature, hiking, fishing, breathing fresh air, in nearly all types of weather:-) And a massage outside under a beautiful tree out in nature somewhere is the most romantic experience:-)
-
I'll take the hotel anyday now...my tenting days (unless it is glamping), are on the downhill side...
-
(((((raises hand)))))) I'll take the fancy hotel............anyday!
-
Let see pretend that we are homeless or stay in the lap of luxury!!1 Tough call!!
-
This is a really tough call, I enjoy doing both! I stay in hotels a lot, though, as I work at one, so I'm going to pick camping, it has been far to long. Also camping doesn't have all the extra charges that come along with a fance hotel room. When I was in Cancun, we bought a bunch of supplies, including bottled water. I accidently drank one to the waters the hotel provided thinking it was one of the ones we bought and got charged a ton for it!
-
When I was younger, definitely the tent! But now... well, I am celebrating my 20th anniversary and had to choose between a tent and the fancy hotel room. The fancy hotel room with the in-room jacuzzi tub won. :)
-
Camping out in a tent..as long as it isn't cold outside. :)
-
CAMPING ROCKS THATS ALL I CAN SAY!!
-
lol that's a good question, the Hotel sounds better as I get older. But there's nothing like being in a remote location sleeping under the stars and cooking over a camp fire. Very peaceful!
-
camping! been doing it for 20 years, freedom - no getting ready for dinner etc, get up when i want, go to bed when i want, eat when i want, no need to dress up,and i can take my dog!
-
ha, you know? if its a fancy hotel, its probably fancy enough to have prime access to the woods, on the balcony is the starry night, moon reflected on the lake, back to the room, warm bath with jet message, fluffy bed with rose petals! oh yes!
-
Hotel, for sure!
-
Go camping, hotels are boring, no marshmallows and campfires.
-
Camping sounds fun! :D
-
Ive slept in tents for months at a time I'll take the comfortable hotel
-
camping cause hotels cost to much camping is almost free
-
I rather go hotel because it's relaxing for me.
-
go camping
-
I'd rather stay in a hotel and it doesn't even have to be comfy.
-
Comfy hotel! When do I go?
-
Camping, i like the outdoors, and to sleep under the stars.+5
-
Depends. If I'm away on business or on a family trip to Disney World: Hotel. Any other reason: camping.
-
I would rather stay in a comfy hotel/////cabin:):)
-
Hotel for me,thanks!
-
comfy hotel
-
Camping for sure.
-
Comfy hotel. I'll rough it during the day, then when I am finished, I drive to the hotel to relax!
-
camping.
-
hotel
-
Camping
-
Camping inside the same sleeping bag as the woman I love or will love.
-
I don't care about camping anymore. I don't like to stay in hotels either, but sometimes you have to. I like to stay in my little motor home where the germs are mine.
-
A private apartment or residence is the best. But I prefer hotels to camping. The more luxury the better as long as there's money for it. :) . I've had my share of camping already. Living in shitty conditions doesn't excite me.
-
My idea of "roughing it" is a hotel without room service.
-
I would rather boil my head then go camping! Give me luxury spa hotels every day of the week.
-
Camping!!!
-
Camping all the way. Probably a lot cleaner out in the wilderness than it is in some hotel rooms too.
-
FANCY HOTEL.
