I am a Midwestern American who was taught how to make tea by an Australian. (There is now a law against this kind of thing happening again.) Sugar and milk go in first, then the hot water and teabag. The Australian was fixated on Pamela Anderson’s breasts and insisted that the color of the tea matching that of Pamela’s boobs. Sometimes I add honey, I came up with that on my own. Looking back on it all now I suppose brewing the tea in my armpit was intolerable for guests

Depends on the tea. Strong black tea, I'll take a little milk. Earl Grey I drink black - I find the milk masks the Bergamot flavor. Oolong, green and white tea go "black" as well. Herbal teas I don't add anything. I live in the USA

I usually drink sweet iced tea ... I'm from the USA
-
spicy tea with milk, iced tea with lemon
-
Milk, cream, sugar, honey, and/or mint, depending on the type of tea. Most often just with sugar, but milk second. I NEVER put lemon in my tea, though I grew up drinking iced lemon (brewed, non-Lipton) tea. USA, but have spent time in the UK.
-
99% of the time, my garbage or sink takes the tea. Putting tons of honey or sugar in it makes it drinkable but what is the point of that? Milk and lemon can piss off. I really hate "flavored water" as I call it. It is pretty much reserved for use when I'm sick only. I'm from allover, EU (not UK) and USA primarily.
-
I'm in the U.S. & neither milk or lemon. Just sugar.
-
I have it with a little milk and no sugar. I'm from the UK.
-
black. USA
-
Only with milk! India!
-
Honey or sugar..no milk or lemon. I'm from USA.
-
When it is hot tea I prefer no milk or lemon. Most of the time I drink green tea by itself with no sugar or anything since it is naturally sweet. I am down South (USA) and most of the time I like my tea served cold with sugar. sweet tea with a wedge of lemon.
-
If it's ordinary tea or herb tea, then I prefer honey, maybe some lemon. If it's something like Oolong and I'm eating Asian food, no sweetener or anything added.
-
Neither. Occasionally a little bit of sugar. US.
