they arent a breed but more of a training style that my aunt owns which in spanish is called "un Paso Fino" which in english i think means the Fine Path or somethin like that any ways you have to whistle at it if you use your legs to try and make them move they will throw you off

We used to breed Appaloosas. I love their happy color patterns and their wonderful hardworking, versatile abilities. I love the look of the white sclera around their eyes, just like ours. It seemed to make them more personable and friendly. I love how we could train them to do just about anything, from dressage to horsepacking, cow work to gymkhanas, jumping to endurance racing. They just seemed to have so much heart to give a person. And I love heavy horses like Belgians, Percherons and Shires and throw in warmbloods like Trakehner since I love dressage.

Rocky Mt. Horse, Morgans (old style please) Arabs, and Quarter Horses (old style as well please) All of these breeds show marked intelligence (for a horse) stamina, generally good health, are not too big (I'm only 5'3") more often than not they tend to bond closely with their "people." The Rocky is a gaited breed that does a very fast (up to 20 mph for some of them) four beat gate, and are known for having a "puppy dog" personality, easy going...people friendly. All of these breed are likely to be of a "join up" mentality and enjoy working with people most of the time. Here are some Rockys...I'm on the white one!

POA's, because I had an amazing, wonderful POA gelding when I was growing up, who taught me to ride. I also like them because they are unusually marked (not solid colors, usually, anyway) which makes them stand out and be noticed.

The Andalusian. I like them because they are majestic looking, move well and are very intelligent. It is one of the oldest breeds of horses in the world today and is also known as the Purebred Spanish Horse. Andalusians have been used for all manner of riding horses, and were the preferred mount of kings over many centuries. They excel in high school dressage and are used in cattle work and bullfighting in their native Spain. They are highly intelligent and learn very quickly.

Appaloosas for their color and versatility Peruvian Pasos for their smooth gait and tractable nature. They are the Cadillac of horses.

The good ol' American Saddlebred- They're just gorgeous in everyway( Atleast I believe so)!!!

As a child, I always wanted a Palomino.

Thoroughbreds. They are incredibly athletic, intelligent, and graceful. They run fast and jump big. They feel like a powerhouse underneath you. They have hot tempers and intimidating personalities. My favorite thing about them is that you have to be a horseman to handle and work with them. Sit up there doing nothing and you're in a heap of trouble. You HAVE to know how to ride. But when you figure them out, they have more to teach you than any other horse in the world. (and the most ribbons to win you)!

Thoroughbreds and appendix....who needs to spend over 1,000 on a horse for it to be good...Both these horses are EXTREMELY intelligent and are both incredible in the ring (once you connect with them). My appendix has kick but in the hunter ring in the Texas A show circuit and he is now 19, and he still jumps 4' courses with easy (he is only 15'1) My thoroughbred is another amazing project...she is 4 and has already racked up more points than any of the other horses is the level 4-5. She is very smart and willing beyond any other horse I have ridden. Her first 2 shows were A shows and she brought home more money than I bought her for at auction... Horses are a treasure from those places...you can always find a great one hiding in a n appearance of an abused, dirty horse

Arabians for their beauty, stamina, amazing gaits, hot temper and their loyal. You cant man handle them or you'll be on the floor. Thoroughbreds, as their fast, enegertic and so fun! Ive owned 2 of them already =] Anglo Arabian as its a cross between the two most beautiful breeds in the world =]

I absolutely love The Arabian Horse :) Its intelligent, willing and sensitive as well as mettlesome and persistent. What I love most about the breed, is the incedible spirit, and the fact that its just the perfect allrounder, with great stamina and fantastic gaits. I also adore the hot temper they tend to have, even how strange that may seem. And you cant look pass their amazing look. To me, its the most beautiful breed of them all. I might be influenced by owning an Egyptian Arab myself, but even before that I had a crush on this fantastic breed.

Clydesdale, you just don't see then around as much as you do other breeds so when you do see one it just makes it even more spectacular and special..

I've never met a horse I didn't like, although I like some better than others. The best horse I ever owned never actually got to horse height. She was a five-gaited cross between a Saddle Horse and an Appaloosa. For all around versatility, grace, balance, strength and courage, I never met her equal. Even though she was 13.2 and 720 lbs soaking wet with shoes on, she could outpull my half-Belgain on sheer want-to, grit and nerve. I love to watch Morgans, but I'm not fond of working with them. They are a bit too hot for my tastes. I love Saddlebreds. Their easy grace, smooth ride and intelligence makes them a wonderful companion. I love Tennessee Walkers. I love their easy nature to match their easy gaits. Standardbreds are intelligent and hard-working, provided you stay away from a few crazy bloodlines. The Hackney blood in there still crops up from time to time. My heart really belongs to the gentle giants, however. I've always loved good solid dependable farm chunks. I don't care if they are purebred or have a dab of something else in them, I just love spending my day doing chores or fieldwork with a team of horses well-trained enough to be partners.

I couldnt choose! Too many. Most of mine have been TB's. I heart them. Once you get a good one, they make awesome friends, they're adaptable, quick minds, fast learners and fun. Mine have been anyway. I can do anything with my one atm. He's the man. They have a bad name, but they dont deserve it! I also love appalossa's (had one he was one in a million) Freisans, quater horses, stock horses, paints..I love most of them haha.
