A lot of small dogs can be picky eaters. My 2 chihuahuas are so competitive over their food dishes, they rush thru the meal so they can try to get something from the other guy's bowl. 4/11/25

Little dogs can be picky, try changing the brand, or give them cat food for a bit. If you start giving them fresh meat, they won't accept the dog food. Try walking them before feeding, in the wild they have to catch their food before eating it.

Most small dogs have picky eating habits. The logic of this... 1. They're not big enough to eat big portions of food. 2. Many small dogs are spoiled, and live indoors. 3. This indicates they are very selective.
