He was put into a tomb on Friday before Sabbath. They had to leave Him there until Sabbath was over. The women went to finish washing His body and preparing Him with the herbs and spices they used for burials in the region. The huge rock placed in front of the tomb was rolled aside, and He had risen, as He said He would. He appeared to several people that day. He wasn't "nowhere to be found" according to the Gospels. 4/11/25

4/13/2025, it's true. Roman soldiers sealed the tomb of Jesus after His body was placed inside the tomb of Joseph of Arimathaea. They rolled a stone that weighed about 2 tons or 4000 pounds. It was sealed with Roman imperial seals, while Roman guards were stationed at the tomb to prevent anyone from stealing the body. Jesus died before the Sabbath. Mary Magdalene and other women returned on Sunday to embalm the body. To the great surprise, the tomb was empty and the body was missing. Luke 24:5 is a powerful question asked by the two angels who spoke to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?" Followed by, "He is not here: He has risen!"
