By GovMint : " Fort Knox still houses a significant amount of gold. The famously secure facility is home to approximately 147.3 million troy ounces of gold, about half of the U.S Treasury’s stored gold, making Fort Knox one of the largest gold repositories in the world." This is according to the govt mint. 2/17/25

And not one troy ounce backs a single dollar of currency. Federal Reserve Corp. currency is in violation of Article 1, Section 8, Paragraph 5 of the U.S. Constitution. -

That's right, our money is no longer backed by gold or silver. It's just like monopoly money. I don't think that article says congress is required to back the money with any hard currency though. Article 1, Section 8, Paragraph 5 of the U.S. Constitution grants Congress the power to "coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures." This provision ensures that Congress has the authority to manage the national currency and set standards for measurement. -

Yes, I saw this earlier today too. I think the fellow presenting the video has some overblown expectations about his standards of verification though, and his claim that the gold "belongs to the American people" is off too, because it belongs to the govt. IMHO. -

Sounds like speculation to me. Putting way too much credence into conspiracy theories, IMHO. -
