No. Because they have a false self, and live in a delusion that the false self has created. Hence, anything that challenges that false image, is attacked. They also lack empathy, and often struggle to understand emotion responses, and so there is often a disconnect in your experiences with them. They have toxic traits such as gaslighting, (flipping the script), stonewalling and ghosting. But they refuse to take any self responsibility, or constructive criticism, and are eternal victims. They need people for supply, ie power and affirmation, they will love bomb or hold you on a pedestal at first, but as soon as you start to question their behaviour, they will seek to discard you, by putting you down or humiliation. They cannot deal with their own bad behaviour or shame.
