What is the use of zero factorial (0!)?
A factorial is defined as the product of all positive integers up to and including the one shown in the expression. For example 3! = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6. 4! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24. Zero factorial is defined as one, because if you have no integers to start your product chain, you must still have one. But why is this defined in mathematics?
