Jenny's Gone On Vacation
Thanks for sharing! I've done shark cage diving in San Diego, California with Great White sharks. They are huge, especially the 20-footers. The experience was so frightening, even inside a cage. I was in my mid-20's then looking for an adrenaline rush. What surfers experience is totally beyond an adrenaline rush. lol -

What surfers don’t realise is that they could be a shark’s meal but that depends if the waters are shark infested. Surfers need to know if there are sharks under the water or not before thinking of surfing USA (Beach Boys).

Thanks for sharing! When you enter the ocean, you are entering a different realm. There is always something under the deep waters that is watching you. -

But how do you know that for certain? Not all waters around the world have sharks that kill people. How do you know if something is watching you deep under the water? Unless you watch a lot of James Cameron’s The Abyss. It might not be always but maybe there are times when people are out at sea that there is a sea creature nearby that spots them. -

What you ask is too easy. I know for certain since there are no "barriers" in the ocean that stop sea creatures from getting close to you. Once you get in the ocean, you are never alone. Sharks are even known to swim close to shore. Here are some of many videos: https://youtube.com/shorts/l__rHKG3-Ek?si=MhEwf7n-pyPULT7r https://youtube.com/shorts/8arwtKOkcTw?si=A0tZONLzCdW0YZjS -

I don't want to discourage beach goers. I actually go swimming in summer to Venice Beach, Malibu Beach and Santa Monica Beach. I am a good swimmer. I took swimming classes in my early 20's. When I go to the beach, I prefer to swim close to shore, and with lifeguards around. What you see in the beaches of Los Angeles is like watching the television show Baywatch. The lifeguards will warn swimmers of any dangers in the water. Avoid swimming during dusk and dawn. This will reduce the risk of shark encounters.
