  • They're losers who have nothing better to do than to answer their own questions and like their own answers, which by the way, there are no points on Answerbag.
  • Do you mean two different accounts managed by the same user in general, or two accounts with the same name? Maybe someone forgot their login credentials. In my case, this is not my original account, because my old account from the old AB seems to have been nuked when the new AB started up. At least, I wasn't able to log in with my old credentials and it doesn't seem like any of my old questions or answers exist here anymore.

      I believe stevo is asking about sock-puppet accounts. They can be 2 accounts to numerous accounts used by an individual. To your old account that was nuked as you say, the question is, did you use the same username of bostjan64 or a different name?
    • bostjan the adequate 🥉
      My user name was Bostjan Zupancic.

      Then it makes sense to have another Answerbag account, just in case you lose one. With other users I've known in the old AB, they would create numerous accounts for trolling, to answer their own questions and rate their own answers. If I do get another Answerbag account, I will use the same username so others can know it's me.
  • 1) Trolling perhaps? 2) No idea.
  • If they get locked out of their old account, can't remember id/password, they get banned for life and make a new account, they want to have likes so they make their own. But one guy would make several accounts and have very amusing and entertaining conversations with himself as two different people. I don't know of any currently doing this, but I don't check in as often as I used to. I know of several, but they haven't been here since you came to AB. Who do you think are the same?

      Murzy = Mr C
  • I've tried to make another account on here but nothing is happening. It simply will not create one.
