In my experience, Lowe's in-store staff (no matter which Lowe's store) ALWAYS let me down, and Home Depot typically the reverse. I am referring to activities such as special-ordering something (like floor tiles, for example) or when trying to get customer support. *** As far as buying things at the store or online, both are equally good. HD typically has a wider selection, but some things are in-stock at Lowes that you can't get at HD. *** HD tends to have better sales and/or better coupons than Lowe's.
