Well, Yahoo was going down when they did away with the Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo Chatrooms, too many hands in the pot so things get shutdown it's sad cause Yahoo Chatrooms came in hand to meet honest people but there were people in them with all walks of life

Yahoo Answers failed because they couldn't survive their own Socialist agenda. They used censorship as much as Facebook and Twitter. The only difference and the reason these two social media have survived is that they are stand-alone sites. YA was attached by an umbilical cord to Yahoo who wouldn't maintain its parasitic failure.

Beat Covid, Avoid Republicans YA was mostly right wing, During 5=6pm PT it went left wing but mainly it was far right wing. Some of the most racist, pro-nazi stuff I've ever been in my life, like Obama in a SS uniform was posted there. They did NOTHING to stop it. The organization was clearly responsible for racial problems we have today. -

YA was warned by thousands of people to cool it on the anger especially in their politics section.😐 Originally it was moderated, but badly. There were gangs of people who would post together and post the same thing or attack the same person at the same time. However eventually they went into "community monitoring" which meant every troll and his brother was putting trashy stuff on the Internet.😈 The trolls were in charge - literally. I think YA enjoyed the trolls because they gave outrageousness and controversy to the site and therefore kept people posting, 😏 thus driving profits.

Y! Answers was so flooded with right-wing mouthpieces that they had to eventually shut it down. The site was being overrun and ruined by no-proof conspiracy hacks. They didn't want to spend any more money maintaining a site that was just right-wing whacko propaganda and out-of-control lunacy.
