How do you clean a toilet basin on the inside?
What do use? Can I use a household combination like baking soda and vinegar?

Zep acidic toilet bowl cleaner. Follow the directions. If the toilet is badly soiled, a pumice stone would be helpful.

Moving Violation Excellent but be very careful of the pumice stone it will grind the glaze off of the porcelain go very easy on the stone

Baking soda and vinegar produce bubbles, cancel each other out and leave you with water. I clean it with a toilet brush and use bleach when necessary. But I've had to clean badly stained and lime encrusted toilet bowls before and CLR works well, but the cheaper product "The Works" worked just as well for less than half the price. And I agree with 1465 that a pumice stone may be needed.
